  • ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

    RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS:

    Admission to Berea Theological University College is based on the completion of an official application and evidence that the potential student possess the qualities needed for satisfactory achievement in terms of character, ability, academic foundation, purpose, and personality. This university college admits students regardless of race, color, national origin, or disability. To be eligible for admission, you must have received a grade 12 certificate from an approved high school. Acceptance is based upon discernible qualities and potential without reference to any perceived notion of an ideal class. BTUC is a Church of God World Missions University College, although you do not have to be a member of the Church of God to attend, you must be born again and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  


    Requirements:

    1. Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O-Level or its equivalent.
    2. Copy of Certified NRC for Zambians and copy of Certified Passport for International Students.
    3. International Students must apply for entry Visa and Study Permit.
    4. Ability to read, write, and understand English.
    5. All prospective students are responsible for all Tuition & Fees.
    6. All prospective students are welcome to apply for Scholarship, but it is not guaranteed.
    7. All prospective students must submit passport sized photos.
    8. All prospective students must submit letter of recommendation from their Pastor or Supervisor.
    9. All transport to and from BTUC is the responsibility of the Student.

    Mature Entry:

    If a perspective student has not completed grade 12 and is a pastor or leader in the Church for the required number of years, they may apply for mature entry or ministerial experience. We are limited on the number of Mature entry students per year. 


    Mature Entry Requirements:

    1. Applicant is a pastor or leader in the Church for at least 10 years.
    2. Prior Learning in a related program.
    3. Must be able to read write and understand English.
    4. Copy of certificate for the last grade attended and passed. 
    5. Recommendation form Overseer or Pastoral authority. 

    NON-RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS:

  • ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

    RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS:

    Admissions procedure for Berea Theological University College is accessible in several ways. All applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee for approval and the applicant will receive a letter of acceptance.

    • Call and make an appointment to speak to with the Admissions consoler.
    • Stop by BTUC to get information and to speak with an Admissions Department representative.
    • Request information or Application at the email address provided on the website.

    Procedure:

    1. Request and fill in application packet.
    2. Obtain a recommendation letter from the Pastor of your church.
    3. Attach all documentation listed in the Application packet.
    4. Prospective students coming outside Zambia must apply for entry Visa and the Study Permit.

    Submission of the application and all documents can be emailed to the Registrar’s Office (admissions@btuc.africa), mailed in, or brought in person to the school.
